Anti-aging remedies made at home are usually safe and full of nutrients. They help to glow to your face and improve the skin texture

Honey Face Mask, I’ve shared before how I wash my face with oil and how that has been the most helpful skincare routine I’ve ever used. Some of the readers commented that they still hadn’t found the right compound of oils for their skin type, so I wanted to share different natural face wash I recently discovered.

Maybe sound strange? So does it work for cleansing your face with oil, but it turns out that they are both natural and powerful ways to cleanse skin naturally.

Honey Face Mask (or Wash)

For this plan, raw honey must be utilized. Raw honey has natural antibacterial features and contains enzymes and probiotics that are useful for skin. This order can be particularly good for acne-prone skin as it doesn’t end moisture from the skin but does demote oils and bacteria. (Acne is usually in the internal problem though, so it is essential to look at diet too!)

Honey Face Wash Simplistic and natural remedy that helps to nourishes skin and assists fight acneHoney is gentler than soaps, that remove the skin of beneficial oils, and it smoothly nourishes the skin. I know a local vet who has even practiced raw honey to speed skin healing on animals as it promotes reduce bacteria and speed healing while defending the skin from outside disturbances. This idea seems to have some scientific backing, as there are now available several medical-grade ointments (like this one) that practice honey for wound and burn to heal in humans.

What Kind of Honey

I’ve individually tried two different kinds of honey for facial cleansing:

  • Manuka honey
  • Raw organic honey

Both work well. Manuka honey is examined more cleansing and antibacterial (and has health benefits when practised internally) but from what I noticed, either one works great for skin-care (and raw honey is cheaper). I regularly practice slightly lesser quality honey for face cleansing than I practice with food. As long as honey is raw and optionally organic, it is great for skin use.

Typically, I wash my face at night with the oil cleansing order since it also lifts makeup, and practice the honey face mask in the morning before taking a bath. I keep a small jar of honey and a spoon on my bathroom counter for this plan.

Bonus Ingredients

A friend of mine also practice adding a tiny bit of vitamin C powder (which is also excellent for skin) to the honey face mask, onward with some essential oils for extra antibacterial and acne-fighting capability.

Since then, I’ve been testing with variations of this honey face mask and cleanser. Diverse variations seem to work for different skin types.

Personally, I combine a few drops of lavender and frankincense oils into the honey I store in my bathroom. I also add a dash of cinnamon or vitamin C. I just spot test on my inner arm before practicing anything new on the face and I advise the same for anyone trying these DIY methods.

Some “bonus” ingredients to analyze:

– For oily or even inflamed skin, add a tiny quantity ( 1/2-Spoon) of cinnamon powder to the honey before massaging on the face. (This is too strong for some skin sorts as it may be drying.)

– For age spots or dark spots on the skin, try lemon. Joining a spoon of lemon juice to honey before massaging onto skin benefits clean pores and lighten dark spots. Vitamin C powder also acts for this.

– To restore skin, try lavender! add 2 drops of organic lavender essential oil with one spoon of honey and massage into skin.

How To Use Honey Face Mask

  • Making your natural homemade face mask using honey is incredibly simple.
  • Wet face with warm water.
  • Put a small measure of honey in your hands (normally less than a spoon is plenty) and rub your hands together. I practice this honey.
  • Massage on the face in a circular direction to get all areas.
  • Give about 10-15 minutes to work for deep pore cleansing.
  • Wash it off with warm water and get it dry.
